As part of the recent creation of a unit dedicated to the façade market, RIOU Glass is strengthening its ambition to become a major player in this sector by taking a 45% stake in the companies Sigma Industries and Delta Miroiterie. This operation also aims to extend the group's territorial network in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Corsica.

RIOU Glass is taking a new step in its development with the entry into the capital of two strategically positioned companies: Sigma Industries, based in La Ciotat (Bouches-du-Rhône), and Delta Miroiterie, located in Borgo (Corsica), both headed by Guillaume Morand. This merger serves a dual purpose for RIOU Glass: on the one hand, to strengthen its expertise in the facade sector thanks to the creation of a unit dedicated to this market and the expertise of Sigma Industries; on the other hand, to consolidate its regional presence in the South-East of France.

Firmly established in Bouches-du-Rhône (13), Var (83) and Alpes-Maritimes (06), Sigma Industries is recognized for its expertise in insulating glazing in the façade sector. For its part, Delta Miroiterie, a major player in Corsica, stands out for its expertise in mirrors, interior partitions and product trading. Thanks to this partnership, Sigma Industries will be able to enrich its offer with high added value glazing from RIOU Glass (decorative, bulletproof, fireproof glass, etc.) and optimize synergies with the group's production sites, in particular with RIOU Glass SLPV in Béziers and RIOU Glass Vidresif in Spain.

Sigma Industries: a major player in the facade sector

Founded in 1988 and taken over in 2019 by Guillaume Morand, nephew of the founder Nicolas Ciolkovitch, Sigma Industries has established itself as a key player in the field of insulating glazing for facades in the South-East. With many emblematic achievements, the company recently contributed to the construction of the Cité Scolaire Internationale Jacques Chirac by supplying 3,500 m² of double glazing. Over the last two years, Sigma Industries has continued its modernization by investing 1 million euros in its 3,000 m² factory in La Ciotat, which has enabled it to acquire in particular a new double glazing manufacturing line and a laminated glass cutting line. Together, Sigma Industries and Delta Miroiterie achieve a consolidated turnover of 7.5 million euros and employ 21 people.

"This partnership with Sigma Industries and Delta Miroiterie is part of a logic of sharing human and family values. It represents a formidable lever to strengthen our presence on the facade market and in the South-East of France. Together, we will perpetuate our know-how and our professions", rejoices Christine Riou-Feron, President of RIOU Glass.

"We are delighted with this new adventure with RIOU Glass. This partnership will allow our customers to access a wider range of high value-added glazing, manufactured in France and distributed via short circuits," adds Guillaume Morand, director of Sigma Industries and Delta Miroiterie.
