On the occasion of SITL 2024, the digital charter platform TRANS FOR FORWARDERS, a subsidiary of Trans.eu Group - the largest independent Freight Tech in Europe - announces its arrival in France. The publisher's development ambitions in France will be led by Stéphane Eliasu, appointed Country Manager.

Created in 2004, just 20 years ago, TRANS FOR FORWARDERS is a digital road transport management platform entirely dedicated to charterers and carriers with a charter activity. The subsidiary of the Trans.eu group covers 45 countries thanks to a network of 12 agencies in Eastern, Central, Western Europe and Turkey. 41,000 companies are registered on its digital platform, including 25,000 road hauliers. To continue to develop its activities in Western Europe, TRANS FOR FORWARDERS has therefore chosen to open a sales office in France domiciled in Marne-la-Vallée (77). It will be led by Stéphane Eliasu who has been appointed Country Manager France for the occasion. The latter will also be responsible for developing the company's activities in Luxembourg and Wallonia (Belgium). To do this, he will lead a team of sales engineers, currently being recruited. “The opening of the French market is part of an international development plan for the Trans.eu Group’s activities. Due to its geographical position and the large volume of goods transiting there, France is for us a strategic market in Western Europe. Our ambition is to become the market-leading chartering solution,” says Stéphane Eliasu.

A full digital solution

To achieve its development ambitions in France, TRANS FOR FORWARDERS intends to rely on the know-how of its parent company Trans.eu, one of the largest freight exchanges in Europe (140,000 users per month), but also on its Freight Management System platform which makes it possible to manage all charter, spot and contractual operations. “One of the added values of our platform is that it is 100% digital. No more exchange of emails or telephone calls, which is not the case for the majority of platforms on the market. It is completely secure and allows end-to-end traceability, to work more efficiently” underlines the Country Manager.

Many features

The digital platform makes it possible to manage all stages of a charter offer: from the freight proposal, to the negotiation between third parties, up to the publication of the transport order. Among other features, the TRANS FOR FORWARDERS solution offers a chat equipped with an automatic translation system to facilitate international exchanges, in the language of the country of the charterer and the carrier. It also has a tracking system linked to the trucks' on-board telematics tools, offers the possibility of organizing tours, as well as creating corridors between two delivery points. Once the service has been provided, it finally allows carriers to rate the charterer on, for example, the accuracy of the delivery information transmitted or the payment deadlines. On the charterers' side, a multitude of key indicators are made available to analyze transport activity: the number of charters carried out over a period, their costs, seasonality, the most used routes... TRANS FOR FORWARDERS is already among its users the biggest names in logistics services: DB Schenker, FM Logistic, DHL, Ceva Logistics, DSV…

Appointed on December 1, 2023 as head of the French entity of TRANS FOR FORWARDERS, Stéphane Eliasu has 15 years of experience in the sale of transport management information systems.
