After equipping itself with CNG vehicles, the Bioret Group is now turning to electrification to continue the decarbonization of its fleet. The Toulouse-based carrier has just equipped the new site of its subsidiary In’TERPECH on its Arpajon (91) site with an ultra-fast electric charging station from CHARGEPOLY.

The Bioret Group is entering a decisive turning point. After opting for LNG and CNG, the carrier based in Saint-Jory (31), north of the Toulouse metropolitan area, is reorienting its fleet decarbonization strategy in favor of electric energy. "When I joined the company in January 2023, my mission was to focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions," recalls Victor Bioret, Sales and CSR Director, son of the manager Serge Bioret. After an in-depth study, electric energy appeared to us to be the best solution to reduce the carbon footprint of the regular tractions that we carry out in France on behalf of our express customers." Since October 2023, the group has invested in the acquisition of thirteen electric vehicles: eleven tractors, a carrier and a box carrier.

To power the tractors and their electric carriers, based at the new hub in Arpajon (Essonne) of its subsidiary In'TERPECH, the Bioret Group installed an ultra-fast electric charging station from the Aix-based engineering company CHARGEPOLY in September. Equipped with three charging satellites, it delivers an installed power of 200 kW. The two electric vehicles, with a range of 300 km, carry out inter-site shuttles for Bioret's courier customers in Île-de-France. The choice of CHARGEPOLY is based on several criteria: the flexibility of the solution equipped with three terminals to maximize the available power, the compatibility of the terminals with many truck manufacturers, ensuring the reliability of the charging process, as well as the listening and support of the CHARGEPOLY teams throughout the project.

"We are happy to work with CHARGEPOLY, a company that multiplies installations with recognized colleagues in the profession, which is a reassuring element. We can't wait to discover the station" rejoices Victor Bioret.
